Large Private Party Marquee in Putney
The Brief
The client required a refined temporary structure for a large private celebration, delivered within a tight residential setting. The brief was to create a spacious, light-filled environment capable of hosting both formal and social moments, while integrating seamlessly with the surrounding garden and existing property.
Our Solution
We installed a 12 m × 18 m main marquee with flooring, carpet and a panoramic clear roof, finished with soft fairy lighting to create an elegant setting for dining, speeches and entertainment. Elements of the garden were retained within the structure to enhance the atmosphere.
To support guest flow, we added two connecting walkway marquees: a covered side entrance and a blackout starlight walkway linking directly into the house, creating a seamless and immersive experience.
The Outcome
Despite the constraints of a tight residential site, the finished installation delivered a spacious and luxurious setting ideal for a high-capacity private celebration. The combination of clear roof architecture, considered lighting and seamless transitions between spaces created an atmosphere that encouraged guests to relax, socialise and enjoy the event well into the evening.
