Case Study
Temporary Sport Structures at SandPolo Event
The Brief
The client asked us at very short notice to deliver a full hospitality and event setup for SandPolo, the world’s largest beach-polo event, held on the sands of Sandbanks Beach. The temporary venue needed to wrap around a central beach-polo arena, offering guest hospitality, catering, VIP areas, bar service and a dedicated stage and entertainment space, all while respecting the fragile sandy terrain and tidal beachfront conditions.
Our Solution
We installed a 15 × 90 m hospitality marquee, a 20 × 40 m stage structure and a 30 × 10 m wrap around deck, all engineered for sand with reinforced supports and specialist anchoring.
The layout ensured clear sightlines of the event, with reception, VIP, catering, bar and seating areas finished to a high standard.
The Outcome
The event went ahead smoothly. Spectators enjoyed premium hospitality, seamless access to polo matches, and a high-end entertainment experience under marquees engineered for coastal conditions. The build demonstrated our ability to deliver technically complex temporary event structures, even on sand, while preserving safety, quality and guest experience.
